Mobile Tornado Agreement with Claro Guatemala

14 July 2011

Mobile Tornado (AIM: MBT), the leading provider of instant communication solutions to workforce management, announces a partnership agreement with Investro Group to provide services to the enterprise and mobile operator market in Guatemala. The service will be launched on Claro, the leading provider of telecommunications services in Central America. This service is commercially available immediately.

Until now, mobile operators and enterprise organisations have traditionally had to incur significant capital expenditures in order to roll out new value added services. Operators and enterprises can now enjoy instant voice communications in a very cost effective manner. Under the terms of the deal, Investro Group's subsidiary Townsend Systems, will host Mobile Tornado's Instant Communications platform, providing access to Instant Talk, Instant Locate and Instant Alert, and perform all customer service functions. Mobile Tornado will be responsible for supplying software licences to its patented IPRS platform, and providing 3rd line support.

Investro Group chose Mobile Tornado's IPRS platform because of its clear visualisation of the presence information; its advanced applications for work force management and for its cross country operability

The service will be available on the main handsets existing in the market, based on the leading platforms, such as Symbian, Windows Mobile, and Brew. Other leading platforms will be introduced shortly, namely Android, Blackberry and iPhone.

Adi Goren, CEO of Investro Group, said:
"We are thrilled with the opportunity to cooperate with a leading carrier like Claro. With Mobile Tornado's advanced technology we will ensure a unique experience to all Claro's users. This innovative service will provide companies, organizations and end users a significant tool for communication and work force management."

Jeremy Fenn, CEO of Mobile Tornado said:
"Being able to launch our services first with Claro, Central America's largest operator, has given us further evidence that we are in the right market at the right time. Claro's responsiveness and eagerness to move forward, has only strengthened our view that we are offering the right product for the emerging workforce management sector. It is our goal to continue to expand our operation within Claro as well as in the South American region."
