Mobile Tornado's Instant Communication Manager Client (ICMC) provides a unified interface to the Mobile Tornado suite of services, including Instant Talk, Instant Locate, Instant Alert, and Instant Message.

By integrating all their features into a single easy-to-use interface the full power of the Mobile Tornado product set can be harnessed.

The ICMC provides supervisors with the ability to communicate with their workforce through a web based interface, either by selecting contacts or communication groups from a list, or by choosing an ad-hoc call group based on an area of the map. Instant Messaging is also available, and it provides real-time location monitoring and historic reporting, along with alert handling.

The Instant Communication Manager Client is the realisation of the combination of our Instant Talk, Instant Locate, and Instant Alert Software Development Kits (SDK's). Built entirely on the same APIs as are available to our partners, it effectively demonstrates the type of clients which can be constructed by leveraging our technology, while also providing a full featured ready-to-use PC client for end users.

Primarily developed using Flex to provide a UI, several underlaying technologies are in use including proprietary TCP and UDP protocols for real-time notification and communication, as well as SOAP interfaces for subscription and history retrieval.
