Zapp Portugal announce the launch of a PTT (Push-To-Talk) service in the local market. This solution allows instantaneous communication on a nation-wide basis, utilizing one-to-one or one to many half duplex call. This service is based on the Mobile Tornado IPRS solution.
This PTT service is an important communication tool for field workers and organizations in the field of fleet operation and management as well as an indispensable mean of communication of law enforcement and public safety sectors.
Zapp has focused its PTT service on professional and corporate segments such as firefighters, law enforcement and security companies, municipal and communal service providers, events companies, etc. This focus has influenced the feature list turning deployment more demanding, placing a special emphasize on performance and reliability issues.
